Magicka Necromancer Stage 1 Vampire Ultimate PVP Heavy

Magicka Necromancer Stage 1 Vampire PvP. Immortal Warrior

This build is designed for Battlegounds with no Champion Points in mind. Though I will add a section at the end of the guide if you wanted to incorprate it in to Cyrodill and Imperial City. Just a note, this build utlises Zaan's Monster set for burst damage. The future of proc sets is currnetly unkown in PvP so I'll update the build as the game changes so make sure you come back to check on changes.

The idea of this build is to create a super tanking character that is very difficult to kill. You're role is to provide a distraction, hold the Chaos Orb, stand on point or be the Relic carrier. You will also be able to deal a decent amount of damage when Zaan procs.

In PvP Battle Spirit reduces your healing with abilities but it does not affect Health Recovery so we're stacking heath recovery sets. We're also using stage 1 vampire so the health recovery penalty is only 10% which is managable.

In battleground position and mobility is important as as the necromancer lacks mobility we're getting around this by using the shield charge in the one handed and shield skill line and elusive mist in the vampire skill line for an escape. Your health recovery will work through the mist which is super strong too as you take 75% reduced damage while healing +2500hp every 2 seconds.

The playstyle is fairly easy. Hold your ground, debuff, wait for Zaan to proc and kill. Use Expunge to remove negative effects, Exhiliaraing drain to heal and build ultimate. If the pressure is too much dip with mist regrounp and go again.

Armour, Health and a tonne of health recovery when you stack Resistance. This works with bone armour to give you solid defence and massive health recovery. you hosuld easily be pushing 1000 health recovery.

Remember you can only have one source of Major Resolve. This will be from your bone armor which has a 20 second cooldown.

Beekeeper's Gear.jpg

Beekeeper's Gear

Type: Overland
Location: Greenshade

A very straight forward set. 3618 Max Health and a straight up 900 Health Recovery. Less 10% from stage 1 Vampire and it's 810 Health Recovery which is still massive.

Zaan.jpg

Zaan

Location: Scalecaller Peak, Urgarlag Chief-bane's undaunted chest
Requires DLC: Dragon Bones

Single Set Item is Spell Crit which is always good for Magic Attacks

Zaan's is very strong proc set and will melt enemies. You'll be fighting up close so this should got out of range. With your surivabilty you just wait till this procs and then stun and help the burst. Make sure you have elemental drain on and you should not have any issues finishing anyone off.

Degeneration Decent dot, major sorcery buff and also mages guild passives. You could switch with exhilarating drain if you wanted a cheaper heal and ult gen on the front bar.

Arterial Burst.png

Your cheap single targe spamable thoguh it's close range- You can change this for Force Shock to give your self some range attack before you engage. But you should be fighting up close to proc Zaan

Elemental Drain.png

Elemental Drain helps you lay the pressure on with Arterial Burst and degeneration plus it has magicsteal for helping you keep up your magicka regeneration.

Inner Light.png

Mage light Crit passive and magicka bonus but also can be activated for hunting down Nightblades and other stealth players,

Elusive Mist.png

Elusive Mist is your escape ability. The damage mitigation and speed bonus is excellent for repoistioning just remember it'll break if you fall off a small ledge. The main bonus here is health recovery works when this is activated which is amazing.

Ravenous Goliath.png

Ravenous Goliath over Swarming Scion because the health pool is greater and will have better synergy with Exhilarating Drain. You're not here to do massive damage but to soak up the damage and hold points. If you want more damage go Swarming Scion

Your gap closer. As a necro you have nothing to close that gap and in PVP it's essential espcially as players tend to run speed in BG. Mist is decent but this will come in with a stun and a shield.

Exhilarating Drain.png

Exhilarating drain is a massive ability when you have a huge health pool as it restores 23% of your missing health. It's also a massive ult builder so you can keep Spell Wall up alot

Spirit Guardian.png

Spirit Guardian, 10% damage reduction and a 16 sec heal over time. Uptime all the time

Beckoning Armor.png

Beckoning Armor needs to be applied all the time. It give you major resolve and combined with Alessian Order set gives you huge health recovery. It also pulls in those pesky ranged players

Expunge and Modify.png

Expunge and Modify is a huge PVP ability, Not only does it reduce the cost of your abilites by 3% it gives you a negative effect removal on command so you can spam remove all those dots players will through at you. Make sure you use it and you will be unkillable

Spell Wall.png

A cheap Ultimate and a very effective one. You auto block and fight at the same time but it also reflects projectiles cast at you which can really catch players by surprise. You can bar swap too and the effect carries over,
